I was introduced to sewing when I was a little girl – my grandmother worked in a bridal gown factory in England in the 1960’s. Since then I’ve been obsessed with all things bridal but my passions really came to life when I started working at The Coach House Bridal Salon, a boutique shop in the Village of Waterdown.
Building on nearly 15 years of experience at the Coach House, I continued my work from home so I could be with my growing family. That’s Sew Bridal was born and I opened my first home studio in Hamilton, Ontario.
It’s an honour to have won several Hamilton Spectator Readers Choice Awards over the years. I am incredibly grateful to all of my clients for singing my praises and helping to build That’s Sew Bridal into the successful business that it is today.
After spending eight fantastic years in Hamilton, I’m embarking on a new adventure in the quaint town of Alliston, Ontario.
I look forward to making my clients feel comfortable and reassured in my new home studio.
I pride myself in accomplishing the impossible – when others in the industry have said it couldn’t be done, I’ve found a way (check out my testimonials to see for yourself!) Though I specialize in bridal gowns, I also alter other formal gowns and create and customize veils and other accessories. Bringing new life to vintage and heirloom gowns is also a favourite project of mine.
If you’ve said yes to the dress, I invite you to send me a message! I’d love to be part of making you feel beautiful on your special day.
